School Magazine
The first edition of the renascent Kamuzu Academy magazine was published midway through 2007. Its name, 'Kachere', alludes to the formative education received by the founder, Dr. H. Kamuzu Banda, who was taught beneath the famous Kachere tree outside the grounds of the Academy just over a hundred years ago.
The magazine, compiled entirely by students, chronicles the memorable events of the school year, includes literary compositions of pupils, and offers alternative perspectives on life at the Academy.
