The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

After 13 years we are very pleased to announce that the International Award (known as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in the UK) has relaunched today.

The Award is recognised by universities across the world and encourages students to undertake new sports, community work, a challenging skill and an adventurous expedition. The first cohort of over 20 students spent this afternoon learning how to pitch a tent, in anticipation of their first expedition.

Thanks to Mr Hewitt, Mr Kamsesa and Miss Ngoma and also to one of our alumni Miss Nkanaunena, who are the staff team running the International Award.
